I am aware that participating in dance, gymnastics and acrobatic dance involves risks and hazards In relation to classes, tuition and general participation.
I understand that the Activities are physical and that my child is deemed medially fit to be able to attend the class. I will inform Carousel staff of any physical or medical conditions that may result in requiring special attention.
Parents and guardians should be aware that due to the nature of dance and gymnastics, it may be necessary for the teacher to use appropriate physical contact when training, spotting and supporting your child.
All injuries will be logged and details of any treatment recorded.
If your child requires urgent medical attention while under our care, we will attempt to obtain your prior consent. However should we not be unable to contact you we shall be authorised to make the decision on your behalf should consent be required for urgent treatment. This will of course be recommended by an appropriately qualified medical profession.
Behaviour that is deemed to be disrespectful towards teachers or to other pupils may result in being asked not to return to future classes and payment will not be refunded.
We will not be liable for any injury sustained outside of class, and ask that your child does not perform any gymnastic or dance skills without a professional or teacher present.
All fees for classes are non-refundable, this includes but is not limited to; trial lessons, term fees and performance fees. If however a new starter doesn't want to continue after their first class we will refund the money that has been paid for the upcoming term minus the first class fee and a £4 admin fee.
Refunds for medical or exceptional circumstances in the event of extenuating circumstances, such as a serious injury that prevents a student from participating. A partial refund or credit may be issued in this case, provided that medical documentation is shown.
